The clink of glass bottles touching confirmed the deal was sealed. Simon’s narrow lips twisted into his version of a smile. It did not reach his flinty eyes.
Philip would find Gloria. He had methods and contacts. She would not be able to hide from him. No matter what name she had assumed or changes she had made to her physical appearance, he would hunt her down. When he found her, he would terminate her and take the child; Simon’s only son.
She could not outwit him. Philip would teach her before she died that all ways were Simon’s way.
