Blogger recognition award and Merry Christmas

This is my last post of 2019 and I want to say thank you to all my blogger friends who have read and commented on my posts over the course of this year. I really appreciate you all and love visiting you and reading your posts. It is always fascinating to me to see how one prompt attempted by twenty writers will result in twenty different ideas. It is simply splendid.

I was delighted to receive three more nominations for the Blogger Recognition Award 2019. I wrote my post a short while ago when I was nominated by Stevie Turner and Jim Webster. I have subsequently been nominated for this award by an additional three amazing bloggers and I must say thank you, I really appreciate it.

Jessica Norrie from Words and Fiction, you can read her lovely post here:Β . Jessica writes lovely posts about literature, reading and writing and has some delightful books of her own.

Sally Cronin from Smorgasbord, A huge hug to Sally for her unstinting support of so many authors, writers and bloggers in our community. Sally also has a wide selection of amazing books, many of which I have read and thoroughly enjoyed.

Colleen Chesebro from Colleen M. Chesebro, Colleen is a wonderful supporter or the blogging community in general and of the poets, in particular. She hosts a lovely weekly poetry challenge and facilitates a meet and greet of poets and poetry lovers.

In case you missed it, my original post is here:

I wish all my friends happy holidays and for those of you who celebrate, a Merry Christmas. I will still be popping in to visit you over the next week, but I won’t be posting any new content until 1 January 2020.
